Information Notification
In succession of phase 1 and 2 notifications (CIN: 201712002I and 201810002I) wafer test will be released for the
remaining types to mitigate the risk of capacity caused by COVID-19
- In addition to NXP Semiconductors Thailand (ATBK), ASEN will be released for wafer test
- Introduce second source wafer test at ASEN for remaining Logic types
Why do we issue this Information Notification
- By qualifying ASEN (Suzhou, China) as an additional source for Wafer Test for Logic products, Nexperia improves
manufacturing flexibility and the ability to meet increased customer demand
- Improved efficiency, ASEN will become a full turn key solution
Identification of Affected Products
- Full traceability on lot number and ordering 12NC
Impact
- No change in form, fit, function, quality or reliability anticipated
- Same test-system and test-programs and hardware are used in the second source location ASEN
