Subject: Product Discontinuance Notice – Specific Part / Package Combinations
Description:
Microsemi is announcing the discontinuance of specific part / package combinations.
This letter is to inform you of Microsemi’s decision to obsolete the offering of specific
part / package combinations.
Reason for Discontinuance:
Microsemi’s vendor is no longer able to support SnPb (lead frame plating) and / or the
demand for the specific device is minimal.
Customer Impact:
Every effort should be made to place last-time buy orders in a timely manner; do not
wait until the last moment to place orders. If you anticipate that your last-time buy
requirements will exceed the current run rate for specific devices, please provide your
Microsemi SoC Sales Representative with a forecast of the requirements.
• Orders for the products affected will be noncancelable and nonreturnable. In
addition, the request date(s) cannot be pushed out.
• Last time buy will be limited to available inventories only.
• Orders will be supported on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Last Order Date: December 15, 2015
Last Shipment Date: June 16, 2016
