Update To Transfer of Conformal Tantalum Capacitor Production
The PCN to transfer the finishing operations for conformal tantalum products (F72,
F75 and F95 series) from Japan to El Salvador, initiated during 2019, had a project
target completion date scheduled for August 2020 following a facility upgrade.
The work in the facility was impacted by the government closure due to covid-19
but has now resumed; the updated schedule for completion of product build and
qualification is now 11/11/20.
During this period, we have been able to recommend a range of alternative options
for consideration by our customers, and will be available to discuss these on an
individual program basis.
