- Characteristics: The capacitor will not be affected by the packaging reel.
- Product specification: The document will be the same since pacaging dimensions
as well as minimum quantity do not change.
Subject
Change of the paper reel to plastic reel for aluminum electrolytic capacitors of
surface-mount type (type V)
The change applies to all aluminum electrolytic capacitors of V type, including those
made in both Japan and Malaysia. Except, the following series are already packaged
by plastic reels;
FT, TQ, FKS, TC, TCU, ZA, ZC, ZK, and ZE series
The change will start for the products to be shipped on September 1st of 2017.
Purposes of the reel change are;
1. increasing demand for plastic reels especially in automotive industry,
2. increasing demand for plastic reels in surface-mount type capacitors, and
3. to prevent dust coming out from paper reels.
