Recommended Actions:
Customers are being notified to take note of this minor label content change, and as
needed, to alert their relevant incoming inspection, receiving, and manufacturing
personnel.
Upon implementation, Intel will ship products with either labels.
• Best efforts will be made to re-label existing affected inventory to sync with the EU
RoHS Exemption 15 expiry date.
• After February 29, 2020, should there be a case where the label has a print “RoHS
COMPLIANT” but the product contains leaded bump 1

level interconnect and is
outside the scope of EU RoHS Exemption 15a, customers may contact the local
Sales or Customer Service representative.

Reason for Change:
This change is related to the modified scope of EU RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous
Substances) Directive Exemption 15. Certain part numbers that are currently RoHS
compliant under Exemption 15 will cease to be compliant starting in February 29, 2020.
The label content change is to prevent displaying an inaccurate status of RoHS
compliance and prevent confusion during the transition period.
