Multiple application platform based on STR750FV2
Introduction
The system described in this user manual, Multiple application platform based on
STR750FV2 - ARM7TDMI-S
™ 32-Bit MCU, is a development board implementing a very
high number of powerful features.
Figure 1 below shows the main characteristics of the system which can be connected to
other systems through the BSPI (Buffered SPI) connector and the I
2
C connector. Advanced
networking is also allowed by the new ZigBee
®
connector for radio link communication at
2.4 GHz. Standard serial connectivity can be established using the CAN connector (both
250 Kbps and 1 Mbps as maximum bus speed are supported), the UART connector (linked
to the peripheral UART1 of the STR750FV2) and the mini-USB connector useful for data
communication with a PC as well as supplying the system.
Another important feature is the 34-pin standard motor control connector and the possibility
to switch between four different power sources.
Two on-board sensors are also available (inertial sensor and analog temperature sensor) in
order to start with a wide application range.
